I dedicate this blog to my kids because they are so effin awesome.

5 years ago I bought the name "niftyliving.com" and I have been selling this website to my friends and anyone who would listen to me. So here it is. Are you happy now? I am now committed to writing about living on a budget with style. If I read one more issue of Cookie Magazine where I am supposed to think for one minute that my kids should wear $200 shoes, I will barf. So call me out when I am being phony and pretentious because nobody's kids should be wearing $200 shoes - how could they when they are busy getting dirty and making arts and crafts in the garage?
